
- WHITEWATER BUTTERFLY – This is part of the annual Whitewater public arts project. Fifty of these butterflies will be displayed on lampposts in downtown Whitewater throughout the spring and summer months of 2008. They are being billed as “The High-Flying Butterflies of Whitewater” and will be presented for auction at a fundraiser in the fall to raise money for the Whitewater Arts Alliance programs.
- STORMY WEATHER – This is a series of landscapes inspired by the song entitled “Stormy Weather”. As I proceed with this project, it seems to be a vehicle to express symbolically what I have observed about the illness of depression.
- BABY’S BABY – I was moved to do this series of monotypes while viewing a progression of ultrasound images tracking the growth of a tiny black spot in the fetus of my grandson.
- YOU ARE GOLDEN – A series of meditative pieces motivated by a thought that came to me during my yoga class. Two pieces are complete so far:
