I had been observing the daily gatherings of birds – on the telephone lines, in trees, and in fields – and found myself fascinated by their rhythmic patterns. “Gathering” is a symbolic interpretation of these observations and the ways I see them correlating with the human experience.

I designed and developed this project by combining drawing, painting, printmaking, and quilting.
